Our company was founded
in April of 2004. We decided it was the obvious course of action after
having countless requests for the use of our first Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II
for weddings, anniversaries, and just rides around town. We originally
acquired our Silver Cloud out of our passion for vintage cars. We owned
several vintage marques and always thought the Silver Cloud was one of the most
beautiful motor cars ever built.
We thought we would start looking and
educating ourselves about the model not realizing that it would eventually
consume us. It was a long search taking more than a year before finding
just the right one. In our search we learned a lot about the amazing
history and quality of Rolls Royce, which is visible in every single detail.
What was a love for vintage cars turned into an obsession for Rolls Royce!
The acquisition was purely for personal indulgence but we soon discovered that the mystique and overall excitement of this beautiful coach extended far beyond just us. Everywhere we went, we caused a stir; an instant one car parade. Requests for looks, photos, and rides overwhelmed us. We were asked continually to allow the coach to be used in weddings and although it was an interesting idea, we never really gave it much consideration. A few years later we had the opportunity to surprise a good friend and her new husband by driving for them in their wedding event. It had an enormous impact! They returned from their honeymoon to a barrage of messages wanting to know where they had gotten their transportation and how to go about reserving the coach for their own weddings. Needless to say, that's how it all started. We realized that not only was there interest but there was a passion, almost an obsession for it... We're not sure what kind of spell these rolling works of art cast, but it's very powerful. We remain caught in it's grasp. We formed our company, Cloud 9 Vintage Coach, Inc. officially shortly after our Silver Cloud's wedding debut, the name being a play on the model of the coach and the idea of being on Cloud 9 when riding in it. Since then we have added a 1958 Silver Cloud I and the newest member of our fleet, The last Rolls Royce built by Rolls Royce in Crewe, our new Silver Spur. It has rounded out our offering with a modern alternative for weddings and other venues such as corporate and executive personal limousine service. Please see our Services and Features pages for more information.
We
have had enormous success and our service is growing faster than we can keep up
with it. We have had the honor of providing transportation for hundreds of
weddings and other special events around the Dallas area with our motor cars earning
their own celebrity status about town, so to speak. We take great
pride in our service and take a hands on personal approach to all of our
challenges which is evident in everything we do. We would like to thank
all of our clients and fellow vendors for their support as we continue to grow
and establish ourselves in the community. We
are currently and always looking for another special Rolls Royce that will meet our high standards to add to our livery and expand
our capabilities. In doing so, our mission is to provide safe, professional, reliable, and
elegant transportation personalized to suit your individual needs, with the most extraordinary all
original proper motor cars on the road today.
On a personal level we are active members in the Rolls Royce Owner's Club as well as other car clubs and local charities. Our coaches have earned many awards for their appearance, condition, and originality. Each year we help raise money for cancer research and donate our time and services to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, and Make a Wish Foundation with American Airlines. We participate in many other city events, parades, shows and benefits around the area including the Texas State Fair Classic Car Corral where our coach won best of show 3 years in a row and first place for the people's and President's choice award. We invite you to donate to our causes and join us in the events we are so proud to be a part of each year. Please scroll down on this page for the latest events and news updated often. Thank you!
